What types of writing do you accept?
We welcome poetry, short stories, flash fiction, personal essays, reflective pieces, and articles related to creativity, art, wellness, or the writing journey. We’re especially interested in writing that sparks emotion, insight, or connection.
Is there a fee to be featured?
Yes, there is a small feature fee to cover design, layout, marketing, and distribution. It also helps us keep the magazine ad-free and focused on showcasing creators. The fee is clearly displayed on the submission page. Note some authors have been approached by the Owner (James Hurley) these will been handled outside of the paid submissions process.
Can I include links to my website, book, or social media?
Absolutely. Each feature includes space for a short bio and active links to your chosen platforms — perfect for promoting your writing, books, or services.
Do I retain the rights to my work after it’s published?
Yes! You retain full copyright of your work. Creative Talents Magazine simply asks for permission to print and digitally display your piece in the magazine and on promotional platforms.
Do you edit or proofread submissions?
We will format your work to fit the magazine layout and may correct minor typos, but we respect your voice. If a piece needs major edits, we’ll contact you before making any changes.
How long will it take to hear back after I submit?
Submissions are reviewed on a rolling basis. You’ll typically hear back within 5–7 days with confirmation and next steps. If selected, you’ll be guided through the process of creating your final feature.
