🖌️ About the Artist
Sue Mutch is an artist and tutor whose work is inspired by nature, light, and her deep Scottish roots. She paints primarily in oils, though she’s also known for her expressive pieces in watercolour and acrylic. Sue’s paintings often capture landscapes and seascapes that are rich with colour, texture, and emotion — always with a personal connection to place.
With a background in the Emergency Services and Civil Service, Sue brings compassion, strength, and a belief in lifelong learning into her creative life. She now runs successful workshops and one-to-one sessions, helping others connect with their creative side. Her work has been shown across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire, and she co-founded the Leabrooks Creatives group to support mental wellness through art.

“I’ve loved art since I first saw Rembrandt’s Night Watch as a teenager. Painting has always brought me peace. Now, I use my skills to help others gain confidence in their own creative path — because we all have a story to tell through art.”
