Tony Fisher is a visual storyteller whose career spans photography, film, and poetry. Based in Derbyshire, Tony’s work captures the surreal, the heartfelt, and the extraordinary within everyday life. He studied film and photography at Derby Art College and Nottingham Trent, and his creative journey has taken him across the UK and the US, from underground film tours to Arts Council exhibitions.
His recent photography explores solitude, resilience, and human connection — particularly through portraits taken during lockdown, showing people in their own spaces, holding onto hope. Tony’s work is often described as emotional, quirky, and powerfully authentic. Whether through abstract reflections or a quiet scene in a carpark, he invites us to look a little closer.
